Omorodion, the Nigerian defender who has been playing for Portuguese football club FC Porto since January 2019, is currently recovering from an injury sustained in a match against Getafe CF on November 17.
The defender was injured during the match and underwent surgery to repair his Achilles tendon. He missed the next two matches but returned to action on December 6 against Vitoria Guimaraes. However, he was forced off the pitch again after just six minutes due to a recurrence of the same injury.
The latest update on Omorodion's status suggests that he will undergo further rehabilitation before returning to training with the team. The defender has not yet given any indication of when he might be fit enough to return to the field, but it is hoped that he will make a full recovery in time for the upcoming season.
For now, Omorodion remains out of action as he continues to recover from his injury. While fans may be disappointed to see him miss out on games, they can take comfort in knowing that he is receiving the best possible care and treatment as he works towards a full recovery.
